Farooq Ahmed

BDS, MSc, MDPH, MFDS, MOrth, FDSRCS (Orth), AFHEA

Farooq works as a consultant orthodontist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and Northwick Park Hospital, as well as private practice in  North London.

He received his BDS with honours from the University of Manchester in 2009, and entered specialist orthodontic training at the University of Manchester in 2012. He passed his MOrth in 2015 and received the Gold Medal with the Royal College of England. Farooq went on to senior registrar training at The Royal London Dental Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital. He leads on aligner teaching at Guy's Hospital to postgraduate orthodontic students. He is glutton for punishment and in that vein hosts an orthodontic podcast www.orthoinsummary.com, with short summaries of lectures, conferences and blogs on orthodontics.
