Daniel Flynn

After qualifying from Trinity College Dublin in 2002. Daniel spent a year as a House Officer in the Dublin Dental Hospital, concentrating on both restorative dentistry and oral surgery.

Following this, he worked in private practice and completed the MFDS exams before beginning a three-year programme in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute. He was subsequently awarded the Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD), the highest formal qualification available for the endodontic mono-specialty, by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and entered onto the General Dental Council’s Specialist List for Endodontics.
He has lectured around the UK and internationally and gives hands-on courses for general dentists. Daniel has also taught Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute.

Daniel specialises in saving teeth. He believes that a natural tooth is superior than any prosthetic so long as its strong enough and has adequate bone attachment.

To this end he has dedicated the last 5 years perfecting endodontic microsurgery techniques, the ultimate tooth saving procedure. He is also dedicated to diagnosing causes of odontogenic pain and infection using state of the art small volume CBCT scans. Daniel has treated thousands of nervous and anxious patients over the years and has developed a virtually pain-free treatment approach.
