Soft & Hard Tissue Augmentation

  • Title: Achieving the ideal pink and white aesthetics in implant dentistry. From single teeth to full arches
  • Lecturer: Dr Martin Wanendeya
  • eCPD: Development Outcome C

Synopsis

When the pink-and-white balance in implant dentistry is in harmony, any restoration can disappear into the mouth, and look lifelike. But implant dentistry faces a unique challenge in achieving this because, on the extraction of any tooth, the hard and soft tissue will remodel, usually with resorption, making preserving and recreating the hard and soft tissue to recreate the ideal balance a fundamental pillar in implant aesthetics.

This lecture will examine strategies to preserve and augment hard and soft tissue and the prosthetic steps to create an ideal pink-and-white balance in single teeth and full arches.
