MSc Specialist Practice of Periodontal Therapy

University of Greater Manchester programmes delivered by the City of London Dental School at SynTrain Academy, an authorised CoLDS delivery site.

Upon successful completion of the Diploma in Periodontics, you have the opportunity to progress to a one-year accelerated MSc in Specialist Practice of Periodontal Therapy, providing a pathway to further deepen your expertise.

While attendance at all sessions is expected, we can provide a livestream or recording for one missed session.

Structure:

• 5 units
• 11 in-person teaching sessions
• On-going virtual support
• Hands-on training on models, pig’s heads and patients – non-surgical treatment, pocket reduction surgery (regenerative and resective), gum recession surgery, crown lengthening surgery (aesthetic and restorative)
• Role play and presentations
• Assessment via timed essay, MCQs, case viva and reflective logbook
