Two intensive hands-on days covering the complete clinical workflow for predictable ceramic veneers, onlays and crowns.
Learn a structured, repeatable approach to indirect restorative dentistry — from case assessment and restoration selection through preparation, scanning and temporisation to final adhesive cementation.
Predictable indirect dentistry depends on much more than preparing a tooth well.
The decisions made before, during and after preparation all influence the final result — from selecting the right restoration and preserving tooth tissue to margin design, scanning, temporisation and adhesive cementation.
This course brings those individual stages together into one structured clinical workflow.
Over two intensive hands-on days, you will work through veneers, onlays and crowns from planning to final cementation, with an emphasis on practical techniques that can be applied immediately in everyday practice.
The course is designed for dentists who want greater confidence with ceramic veneers, onlays and crowns and a more structured, predictable approach to indirect restorative dentistry.
Learn how to assess the tooth, plan the case and decide when a veneer, onlay or crown is the most appropriate restoration.
CORE BUILD-UP & PREPARATION PLANNING
Understand how to manage the existing tooth before preparation and plan reduction according to the restoration, material and clinical situation.
VENEER PREPARATIONS
Develop a systematic approach to conservative veneer preparation, including reduction, margin design and finishing.
CERAMIC ONLAY PREPARATIONS
Learn a predictable approach to posterior ceramic onlays with an emphasis on preserving sound tooth tissue while creating appropriate space and geometry for the restoration.
ANTERIOR CROWN PREPARATIONS
Practise controlled anterior crown preparation with appropriate reduction, margin placement and finishing.
MARGIN REFINEMENT & SOFT-TISSUE MANAGEMENT
Refine preparations and margins using appropriate rotary and sonic instrumentation, and manage the tissues to achieve a clean, readable restorative margin.
SHADE & CLINICAL COMMUNICATION
Understand the information your technician needs and how photography and shade communication can improve the restorative workflow.
DIGITAL SCANNING
Work through the scanning stage and understand what is required to provide the laboratory with accurate clinical information.
TEMPORISATION
Learn practical techniques for provisional restorations that protect the preparation and maintain aesthetics and tissue health.
TRY-IN & ADHESIVE CEMENTATION
Work through restoration try-in, isolation, surface treatment, adhesive cementation, finishing and the final clinical checks.

By road
A few minutes from the M25 and both the A318 and A245, and approximately 21 miles from Central London, road communications to The Heights Brooklands office space are excellent. On arrival at The Heights, please park in Bays marked with a Yellow Circle.
By train
Weybridge Railway Station (approximately 1 mile away from The Heights Brooklands) provides a 35 minute service into London Waterloo with four to five trains per hour. A courtesy bus runs from Weybridge station to The Heights every 8 minutes during peak times.
By air
The Heights is situated 13 miles from Heathrow Airport (approx. 35 minutes drive) and 25 miles from Gatwick Airport (approx. 45 minutes).
The theory is completed before you arrive, so your time at Weybridge is focused on practical dentistry. Around two to three hours of pre-course online training per hands-on day (theory, fundamentals, procedure walkthroughs) is delivered through DENTER's dedicated online learning portal, so the hands-on days are spent doing — not listening. You'll keep portal access, including all PDFs, manuals and references, for three years after the course.
Across the two days you will work through the clinical stages of veneers, ceramic onlays and crowns — preparing, refining, scanning, temporising and working through the cementation workflow. With a maximum of just 8 delegates, there is time for individual supervision, feedback on your preparations and the opportunity to repeat and refine techniques.
