This course will go over the main concepts of endodontics from case assessment and diagnosis, to access cavity preparation, instrumentation and obturation.
We will utilise the Wave One Gold, Protaper Gold and Hyflex EDM systems and obturate in three different techniques with extracted teeth. Microscopes will also be available for all delegates.
We will also go over rubber dam placement and post and core placement when restoring endodontically treated teeth.

Day One: The Cornerstone of Endodontic Principles
- An update on endodontic diagnosis
- Rubber dam isolation techniques
- Introduction to dental microscopes and magnification in endodontics
- Irrigation protocols
- Local anaesthesia- making it work the extra mile!
- Access cavity design and canal location
- Contemporary NiTi: mechanical preparation and instrumentation, achieving patency and maintaining glidepath
Day Two: Obturation and Posts
- An update on obturation and how it influences endodontic outcomes
- Modern obturation techniques
- Hydraulic condensation
- GuttaCore carrier system
- Warm vertical compaction
- Tips and tricks to achieving predictable obturation results time after time
- Case assessment in Endodontics- picking the winners
- 13 hours eCPD
